Cruise deal price watch: get alerted when a fare drops

How CruiseStar price watch works with the deals bucket list button, notification permission, and price history so you can wait for a better cruise fare.

·

The hardest cruise booking skill is patience. Price watch gives that patience a system. On CruiseStar, watching a deal starts from the same bucket list button you already use to save a sailing.

How to add a watch

Open a deal from the deals tab. Tap the bucket list button. When the sheet asks whether to add the deal to price watch, choose yes. If notifications are not enabled yet, CruiseStar requests permission from that tap so alerts can reach you later.

You can also open the price watch tool, search active deals, and watch them directly. Show more jumps you into the full deals feed with a tip to use the bucket list button on a deal page.

What you are watching

We store the fare when watching starts and compare it to the live deal price as listings update. A drop below your watched price (and below the last alert) can notify you when deal price watch is enabled in notification settings.

Use history before you smash buy

An alert is a prompt to look again, not an order to panic-book. Open the deal, read price history, then run the cruise price calculator if packages will change the math.

FAQ

Is price watch free?

Yes.

Do I need the app for alerts?

Push works best in the native app with permission granted. You can still maintain watches while signed in on the web.
